Nachtschade at Patronaat Haarlem

Amsterdam-based Nachtschade released their first EP in October 2013 and the next, Nachtschade II, in November 2014. And a full album with the full contents of Nachtschade II plus 4 more tracks. All recorded analogue and produced by Pablo van der Poel (DeWolff).
Some comments about Nachtschade say “Great stories, supported by bluesrock, surf and rock ‘n roll”, and “A sleazy Surf’n Roll, psychedelic rock and blues band with an oldschool sound, a high engagement level and live shows filled with weird intermezzos reminiscent of the great Zappa”.
They are at the verge of releasing their new album Maskerade, with a release show scheduled for 1 April 2017 at Paradiso Amsterdam
Nachtschade met The Grand East in 2016 when they both played at the travelling Dutch festival Popronde and they got along. So The Grand East asked their friends to support them during a couple of the nights of their Movano Camerata Clubtour.
And that’s how I got to see them at Patronaat Haarlem a couple of days ago.
Nachtschade are: Bram van den Brekel (guitar, vocals), Reid Steenhuis (keys, vocals), Maarten Stok (bass, lead vocals) and Guy Pek (drums).
