Ian Siegal Band (October 2015)

After 10+ years in which he recorded several albums, received numerous awards and played at most of the venues in Europe again and again and again, guitarist, song-writer and troubadour Ian Siegal formed a new band last year and released a live album in March 2015 of their show at North Sea Jazz Club Amsterdam titled ‘One Night In Amsterdam’.

With that new band Ian rocked P60 in Amstelveen on 8 October: Ian Siegal (vocals, guitar), Danny van ‘t Hoff (bass), Rafael Schwiddessen (drums) and with Mischa den Haring on lead guitar replacing Dusty Ciggaar for the occasion.
The band rocks, then plays funky soul stuff that not only reminds of James Brown but even shows some of his ‘Sex Machine’, seemlessly shifts to ragged roots allowing each of the band members to excell in their own field and still be this solid rock soul and blues machine together.

Not the first time I saw Ian and it will definitely not be the last!
