Alkmaarse Big Band ft. Teus Nobel in Podium Victorie

Early May the new location of Podium Victorie opened. One of the first to give a show there was Alkmaarse Big Band.
Alkmaarse Big Band was founded back in 1964 and consists of almost 20 members led by director Erik Blok: a brass section of 5 saxophonists, 4 trombonists and 5 trumpet players supported by guitar, keys, bass and drums plus vocalist Theo van Gool.
2 years ago they started to organize shows with guests from the top of Dutch jazz, with Benjamin Herman and Ack van Rooijen, last year the guest was singer Deborah Carter.
This time the guest of the day was trumpet player Teus Nobel, who was worked with a.o. Caro Emerald, Hans and Candy Dulfer, Kyteman Orchestra and Frank McComb, and who has released several albums already.
Here a selection of the pictures I shot of that show.
